{"id":894,"date":"2023-08-07T12:16:16","date_gmt":"2023-08-07T12:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cheltenhamtownshipadultschool.org\/2023\/?page_id=894"},"modified":"2026-01-13T13:13:52","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T17:13:52","slug":"faq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cheltenhamtownshipadultschool.org\/2023\/faq\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>How to Register Online (one student at a time)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the registration for <strong>one student at a time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do not add the same class twice<\/strong> in a single transaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process the payment and repeat for additional students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May I bring a guest to class?<br><\/strong>Guests are permitted, with the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete the registration for <strong>one student<\/strong> at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not add the same class twice in a single transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The course must consist of three or more sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The teacher\u2019s permission has been obtained in advance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The course is not fully registered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guest fee of $15 must be paid at the front desk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A guest may attend a course only one time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What age do I have to be to attend courses?<br><\/strong>Students must be in 9th grade or above to register for courses or trips.<br>No children are permitted on trips or in the buildings during Adult School classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Are there make-up classes?<br><\/strong>If needed, will be held one week after the final dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if there is bad weather?<br><\/strong>Listen to KYW 1060 AM for up-to-date weather cancellations. Our numbers are&nbsp;<strong>2410<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>306<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The class I want says it is cancelled or full.<br><\/strong>If you cannot register for a class due to cancellation or being full, please call the office at 215-887-1720 to be put on our waiting list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where can I park?<br><\/strong>Cheltenham High School\u2019s main parking lot is&nbsp;adjacent to the side entrance off of Route 309.&nbsp; Parking for Adult School classes is permitted in any of the numbered spaces on that lot.&nbsp;No parking is permitted next to the school where there are yellow curb lines. Township police will ticket illegally parked cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where can I pick up a catalog?<br><\/strong>Catalogs are available in Cheltenham Township libraries, drug stores and public buildings as well as in nearby Philadelphia and suburban libraries, shops and bookstores. Spring catalogs are mailed in mid-January and fall are mailed mid-August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there an elevator, I am disabled.<br><\/strong>Check out our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cheltenhamtownshipadultschool.org\/?page_id=2165\">page about disabilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I know CTAS is a non-profit organization. How can I make a contribution to show my support for adult education programs?<br><\/strong>We would love your support.
