Tunisian crochet is often called the alternative to knitting, as a number of Tunisian crochet stitches resemble knit stitches. In this workshop, we’ll learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS), which consists of the foundation row, forward pass, and return pass, and use them to make a cowl. Students should have basic crochet skills (chain stitch and slip stitch). Bring the following supplies to class: DK (#3) weight yarn (color of your choice), Tunisian crochet hook size I/9 (US), 5.5 MM, (metric) 32” cable, scissors, removable stitch markers, and a tapestry needle. We will provide a pattern.
