MAKE YOUR YARD A BIRD DESTINATION!

Learn to turn your yard into a habitat that is beneficial to birds, bugs, butterflies and other wildlife. This program will introduce participants to Audubon’s Bird Friendly Communities/ Plants for Birds initiatives. Make your yard climate friendly by converting lawn to plantings that feature native trees, shrubs, and flowers, reducing and eliminating the use of pesticides and fertilizers, and learning how to qualify for recognition as an Audubon Bird Habitat. The first class is on Zoom. Subsequent sessions are being planned as either virtual or “in-person” depending on the status of COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
