PHILADELPHIA STORIES OF LESSER-KNOWN HEROES: A TALK AND A WALK

Does anyone say “meet me at the Eagle” anymore? Why should I care about John Wanamaker now that the store is called Macy’s? How many sculptures are in City Hall, and what stories do they tell? Learn these hidden stories and those of many other people, objects, and events that left an imprint on Philadelphia. We’ll meet for this 90-minute tour at the Wanamaker Timeline (Juniper and S. Penn Square) and end at the Dilworth Park Café, City Hall West, where you can choose to snack, socialize, and people-watch on the Square.
