This fun 2-part program will make the art of looking at paintings comfortable and engaging. The first session begins in the classroom, where we look at the work of diverse artists with different dynamic approaches. For the second class, we take our new skills on the road in a walkthrough of the Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnut Hill. Through the lens of exciting prompts and activities, you will look deeply at and consider works from the collection in a whole new light. Transportation and admission to the museum are up to the participant. Note: at this writing, there is free admission on Sundays.
