Take a rocking ride through Philly’s musical past with a bus tour focusing on the artists, musicians, and performers who got their big break in our own city. Our guide will bring to life tales of the city’s rich music history, with video monitors on board playing music videos and songs to go along with the names and stories. We’ll learn about talented Philadelphians who revolutionized the industry across the musical landscape— from jazz to classical, gospel, rock, folk, R&B, hip hop, and even country. As we ride through the city, we’ll see the spots connected with these innovators. This half-day trip starts after breakfast and returns before lunch, with a snack in between. Revisit favorite tunes and discover new details and places you didn’t know played a role in the world of music.
