FOR THE LOVE OF KNITTING: IT’S BEANIE TIME!
Let’s make a beanie hat together! We will be knitting in the round. Please be advised this is not a beginner class, and students should have some knowledge of how to cast on, knit, and purl.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR UKULELE
This beginner-level workshop covers 10 basic chords, tuning the uke, how to hold it, and some basic strumming patterns. Music choices are flexible but include folk, classic rock, blues and standards. Instructor will provide information about ukulele resources. Materials are $2, payable to the instructor.

An in-depth exploration of some great albums of 1966 & 1967, including work by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, The Doors, Aretha Franklin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jefferson Airplane, Phil Ochs, Pink Floyd, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Simon & Garfunkel, Nina Simone, The Velvet Underground & Nico, and Doc Watson.

Join instructor Vivianna Calabria for this one-night-only demonstration class. We’ll make marinara sauce, a simple and versatile staple of Italian cooking, as well as two uniquely delicious specialties that bring a little zing to the table
LOOK AND SEE ART IN THE MUSEUM
This fun 2-part program will make the art of looking at paintings comfortable and engaging. The first session begins in the classroom, where we look at the work of diverse artists with different dynamic approaches. For the second class, we take our new skills on the road in a walkthrough of the Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnut Hill.
