Description

The spring migration brings a marvel to our region: the appearance of hundreds of species of birds, along with some butterflies and dragonflies, whose summer habitat is hundreds of miles north. We’ll seize the moment to learn to appreciate and identify these species using the system of field marks, behavior, and song. This class will include to field trips, to the Dixon Preserve in Montgomery County on April 27, and to the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge on May 4.
