Did you ever make a paper snowflake in grade school, or have you admired antique silhouettes? These are examples of papercutting, an ancient art form dating back to the 6th century in China. Since that time, artisans have used paper, scissors, and knives to create objects both ornamental and functional. In this workshop, you will create a beautiful bird suitable for framing. Please bring $10 to class for materials.
